The Save 653 Mentorship Program is designed to equip high school young men, ages 16-20, with the mentorship, skills, and tools needed to be successful in every area of their lives, including education and career.
The program also offers sports activities and monthly outings that broaden their scope and potential future.
Students meet with mentors and take part in interactive courses such as etiquette, identity, college readiness, career readiness, and practical life skills.
Students build character, personal presentation, identity, etiquette, goal-setting, and decision-making skills.
Trusted adults support students through compatible mentor matches, consistent coaching, and job performance guidance.
Students explore digital and print media, culinary arts, first responder fields, copier technology, digital design, and Adobe training.
Programming includes financial literacy, resume preparation, certifications, internships, and local employment preparation.
In partnership with Atlantic, Tomorrow's Office, Ricoh, and Konica Minolta, students participate in vocational training, receiving certifications in copier technology, digital design, and Adobe. The same career exploration model also exposes students to first responder fields and local employment opportunities upon completion.
Design presentations give students a chance to share finished work, practice professional communication, and see how technical skills can become career pathways.

Completed projects help students see the value of consistency, technical practice, and personal expression.
One-on-one encouragement helps each student connect creative skill with personal identity and future goals.
Expressive collage projects from the program show how mentorship, identity, and career exploration can give students room to imagine what comes next.
Recreational retreats, spiritual retreats, community and family, road trips, youth events, career preparation, vocational training, certifications, internship opportunities, and job opportunities all support the program.
